With an exciting mix of fun activities and events such as face painting, fun games and special meet ups with some of the park's most popular mascots, there is something to keep all ages entertained at our family seaside resort.
Our kids club not only keeps your offspring entertained and engaged, but they also afford the opportunity for them to make new friends amongst our seaside holiday park community. With a heady mix of fun, education and social engagement, your kids are sure to have a whale of a time at Marine Holiday Park.
Alongside our children’s club are a number of on-site adventure playgrounds in North Wales’ favourite seaside resort. For starters, we have our two outdoor children’s playgrounds which are called Pirate’s Cove and Treasure Island. Both of these outdoor play areas feature different equipment and an alternative adventure theme, ensuring that your young are provided with as wide a variety of apparatus as possible.
In addition to our playgrounds, we also have the Shipwreck Bay heated indoor swimming pool. Open from 9am till 6pm daily during peak season, our indoor swimming pool has recently undergone a redevelopment with the addition of a ginormous pirate ship which has run aground right next to our pool.
The new Shipwreck Bay swimming pool area really lets your children’s imaginations run free in a safe and secure environment, with safety ensured by a continuous lifeguard presence. Adults are welcome to join their kids in the pool or hang out at the poolside cafe or seating area which overlooks Shipwreck Bay. This ensures that you can keep a watchful eye on your children to ensure that they remain safe and sound whilst having fun.
Another facility at our resort which is sure to appeal to children are our seaside amusement arcades. The Sands Arcades feature everything that you would expect from this traditional seaside mainstay with everything from video games and air hockey tables, to fruit machines and one pence piece machines.
If you do find the time to explore the region around our resort, you will find that there are plenty of children’s attractions and activities available here too.
This includes the newly constructed SC2 on the Rhyl seafront which is one of the best water parks in North Wales. With huge slides, rubber ring rides and the piranha play zone for smaller children, there is something for children (and adults) of all ages here.
Also available at the SC2 is a non-water based indoor soft play area for younger children and a thrilling ninja obstacle course which provides a test of both bravery and fitness. Take inspiration from the Ninja Warrior TV series, this is a course that will challenge your young and provide them with hours of fun.
There are also plenty of adventure playgrounds in North Wales that your children will no doubt be interested in frequenting. This includes an outdoor playground at the Rhyl Botanical Gardens and another at the nearby Marine Lake where you will also find a miniature steam railway.
Rhyl and Marine Holiday Park really are the best destinations for children’s activities in North Wales.
