At Marine Holiday Park we want all of our valued guests to be able to book in total confidence. To ensure this we have implemented our “Captains Promise” which means that if you are unable to attend the park as a result of Covid-19 you will be given the below options;

This promise to you will apply if any of the below mentioned scenarios are the reason as to why you are unable to come on your original booking.
The park is closed
UK Government restrictions on travel
You are unable to travel due to sickness or isolation
You consider it unsafe to come on holiday
All you need to do is call us at any point within the guarantee change window which is within the period of 28 days and 7 days prior to arrival.

Flexible Booking Guarantee
The ‘Guarantee Change Window’ allows any transfer or cancellation within the period of 28 days and 7 days prior to arrival.
All other booking terms and conditions remain unchanged.
If you choose to amend your holiday to different dates, should your new holiday be cheaper than your existing booking, we will refund the difference to a Marine holding account to be used against a future holiday, should your new holiday be more expensive you will need to pay the difference at time of booking. If your new dates are the same price as your existing booking this will be moved Free of Charge.
If you choose to cancel your holiday, you can only do this by calling us, refunds will take up to 28 days to process.
The Captains Promise Guarantee is available until further notice.
If you have held your monies with us as your break was affected by Coronavirus, this credit can be used against any holiday in 2020 or 2021. The booking for the holiday must be made within 12 months of the credit being available.
Clean & Safe Staycations with Marine Holiday Park
Our Captains Promise Guarantee ensures that if our holiday homes are not cleaned to the new enhanced cleaning standards, guests will be entitled to a full, no quibble refund on their remaining holiday balance*.
Should you enter your caravan and find it not cleaned to the high levels that we expect then please make contact with a member of our park team. A member of our cleaning team will then come to inspect the accommodation with you and in the unlikely event that the caravan is not cleaned to the standard we would expect, we will offer you two choices:
Allow us one opportunity to clean the caravan again to meet the standards we have set ourselves and continue your holiday- No refund given.
Not continue with your holiday, returning home and receiving a full, no quibble, refund for the remaining days of your booking*
*The total of the first days booking amount will be retained by the park.
We want our guests to feel safe and secure in their holiday homes so we have introduced new cleaning standards and retrained our team on cleaning holiday homes. We’re also ensuring they have a high personal approach to hygiene.
We have significantly increased the standard of our already high quality cleaning products, PPE and training programmes for our cleaning team
We are also focusing on high touch areas and have introduced an enhanced caravan cleaning process which means that every single caravan is cleaned to the same exceptionally high standard.
You will notice upon arrival that one of the windows will be open this is due to ventilation being proven as one of the top combatants to preventing the spread of Covid-19. We ask that you keep your holiday home as well ventilated as possible during your stay. We also ask upon your departure that you leave one window open.
We are also using specialist cleaning materials, known to kill viruses such as Coronavirus, each and every time. Once cleaned, each holiday home is inspected by a specially trained member of our team. When deemed ready for guests, a “Captains Promise” seal will be applied to the entrance door to signal the accommodation has been cleaned to our new standard.
In addition to our team, we are asking our guests to also consider increasing the frequency of hand washing and use of hand sanitisers.
