SAVE THE DATE!
The First Minister of the Welsh Government confirmed at his press conference on Friday 12th March that if the public health situation continues to improve, the process of reopening the tourism sector in Wales would commence, starting with self-contained accommodation from Saturday 27th March.
A review and announcement is planned for Thursday 25th March, to confirm whether this reopening can proceed.
Subject to the announcement on 25th March we are delighted to announce that we will be reopening Marine Holiday Park at 11am Saturday 27th March!
Holiday home owners who live in Wales will be able to visit the park and stay overnight from then.
I LIVE IN ENGLAND, WHEN CAN I VISIT MY CARAVAN?
The First Minister took many questions on this first step in reopening tourism and the application of the differing rules across the UK, as for example in England, the Government is advising people to minimise travel and not to stay away from home overnight until Monday 12th April.
In order to ensure that we comply with the rules and regulations we ask that all of our holiday home owners only travel to the park if they are allowed to do so under their local regulations.
WHO CAN I COME ON HOLIDAY TO MY CARAVAN WITH?
Once your local restrictions allow you to travel In order to follow the regulations in place here in Wales you should only visit your caravan with members of your own household.
The First Minister said, “The basic rules about only going with your own household will remain in place and all the other restrictions that we continue to need to observe will be as true if you are in your caravan as it would if you were in your own home”.
Last year we introduced our Responsible Visitor Pledge that is available to view on our website here. We know that this was appreciated by many of our holiday home owners and we thank you for your understanding and co-operation in ensuring that Marine Holiday Park is a safe location for you and your families to enjoy.View all news
