This week’s edition of #MarineMondays takes us next door to the Rhyl Fishing Association. Did you know next to Marine Holiday Park North Wales, we have a Rhyl/Marine cut where you are able to do coarse fishing. Recently three gentlemen have taken the opportunity to transform the entire area to make it suitable for all ages to be able to learn how to coarse fish or if it’s hobby of yours you can just go out for the day and enjoy fishing during your stay at Marine Holiday Park.
The local council spent over £100,000 to clear the area so the community will be able to enjoy walks, cycles and most importantly community fishery but unfortunately it was never maintained and it caused many issues with the local residents such as stagnant water – which can often cause an unpleasant smell.
However, this is not the case any more the three gentlemen have done a brilliant job to get it back to it’s original state, hoping it will become a great fishing spot, with the younger audience who will be able to be taught and learn to master their craft.
Here are the types of fish you will be able to catch whilst you are coarse fishing:
The most common type of fish you are likely to catch is the Carp fish. So, if you are thinking on what you can do with your children during your stay at Marine Holiday Park you can now add coarse fishing onto the list!View all news
